THE DEEP-SEEDED TRUTH IS …..

A journey that reveals the truth implanted within you

The spirit of "The Deep-Seeded Truth™" revolves around the connections between the development of seed and human behavior.

For example, the seed needs water, sunlight, and other nutrients to sprout. It will grow into a plant if given a fresh, healthy environment and nutrients. Similarly, a person's behavior is shaped by their environment and the messages they get from the world around them. If a human grows up in an impoverished environment, he/she/they are more likely to feel lonely, anxious, and worried. This highlights the importance of soil and water for a robust plant and the significance of the external environment and communication for shaping individual positive qualities.

We all have a deep-seeded truth that we need to find and accept. It may be painful, but the truth will set us free. So, if we find ourselves struggling emotionally and mentally, we need to stop, identify and understand our inner dialogues to obtain better relationships, social interactions, self-image, life successes, and fewer mood swings.

This is the story of a Haitian-American woman's determination to Decolonize and break the stigma associated with obtaining mental health treatment and counseling in the Black and Latinx communities …..

Hey!

I'm Helodia Dastine,

I am a psychoanalyst who went to Fordham University where I obtained my Master of Social Work and completed post-graduate training at the Training Institute for Mental Health in New York City to learn more about the field of psychoanalysis. I am an Adjunct Professor at both Columbia and Yeshiva University, teaching in their respective Graduate Schools of Social Work. I am a Certified Ketamine-Assisted therapist as well as trained in MDMA-assisted therapy. You deserve the best of yourself

I have a warm, understanding, and accepting personality, so even clients who aren't sure about me can often start to trust me. I care a lot about how I get along with my clients, and the quality of therapy relates to how well we get along and trust each other.
